Circumstances were already stacked against our favor. Come on just clap your hands. Come on just clap your hands. And all we ever knew of our hopes and hearts were promises that’ll never come. We’re breaking our hearts just for the sound, obsessed with our desperation. We probably should’ve walked away by now. And these are the words I scream aloud, I confess for the admiration.
